How we got started
In 2002 Mark and Deborah set up YouTurn Ministries. Their passion to reach out to people from all walks of life, catapulted them into the high speed world of Speedway Racing.
Marks experience in the motor repair industry allowed them to build a 2ltr Stock car and on the 30th of March 2002, Mark (the Rev) Schadel and his co-driver Anthony (Bones) Rayner started at the back of the field in their first race.
Mark doubled as the track Chaplain and they were soon helping out where they could, in the pits, with hospital visitation, or just an encouraging word to the drivers and their families.
Since then YouTurn has been involved in Mens and Womens ministry and helping couples with marriage problems.
2007 will see YouTurn move into new and inovative areas of ministry, so watch this space for updates.
